Get a Life, Don't Make it Social Media

Welcome back good people,

So while I am gathering my data for my Superbowl posting, and not having to spend time working on these couple of papers I'm and trying to get published. I my idea for updating this one more than I have been or would like too, has been delayed a little. So I have a quick shorter posting to hold you over.

I have an issue with people that can not distinguish between, social media and real life. Let me elaborate. I have had and heard so many people complain about other people's actions as it pertains to there so called friends and friendships, relationships, family and just life in general, of how social media, indirectly said, but intentionally posted how lives have been ruined by it.

I mean, really people. People have gone so hard on others about a status post, and subtweets, and then have the nerve to get upset when people use the actual functions that are supposed to use, ie, poking, liking, favoriting ( yes, I just did that). Like gezz, get over it! If you have real friends, then social media won't matter. And if you depend solely or more than you should on your social media friends, then I think you need to get some fresh air, and meet some new people.

Now, I will say, please be mindful of what you plan on doing in life, cause it is real out here. Companies look at your social media for multiple reasons, not just to see what you doing, but to also see if you have a life, and know how to interact with people. I am not saying put your WHOLE life on there, but just be mindful.

This is my quick PSA. Have a great weekend.
