Scandal "A Door Marked Exit" S3/Ep10 Season Finale

DID.YOU.SEE.WHAT.HAPPENED.

First let me say, I WAS RIGHT ABOUT MOMMA POPE IN MY LAST POST. Well I was pretty close. See it here at the bottom of Scandal Yolo post

It was sooooooooooo much in that first 7 Min!

Sally, Sally Sally......you truly completed SNAPPED, in pieces class fragments only vacuum can get. In the famous word of 2Pac, " I aint no killer, but don't push me"  AND THEN you call the newly social media dubbed (Twitter) Cyrus The Cleaner.  Truth be told, Cyrus been cleaning things up since DAY 1......come on Sally get it together.  But that moment that doctor touched him, she was all way in it. "Nobody touches him" job well done. And you now know, every time somebody mention Daniel Douglas in heaven you gonna flip out....watch your self.

Huck, I wish they would have let Huck "Whiskey" Quinn. Quinn is out here all messed up in the game. Whatever happened to the little misplaced Quinn that just wanted to be useful and on the team. Huck should have never started showing her the "Force", AND NOW, her ass on the "Darkside"

This is all I know, Joe Morton, SIR, I wish I could just shake your hand after the Daddy Pope and Fitz scene. THAT RIGHT THERE!!!!, Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. "That is a matter of national security, Mr. President, That is above your pay grade" And then Fitz come with the "I'm screwing her you know". How better to get a father's approval.

YOU ARE A BOYYYYYY!!!!  YOU LOVE THAT SHE IS A DOOR MARKED EXIT!!!! SADLY BOYY, I KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT YOUU!

Jake, (Hi Five to you sir). Cause you are about the one of only few people to GO ALLLLL THE WAY OFF ON Liv, and she remain silent........BUT THEN you make your grand exit.......TO BECOME COMMAND!!! Who better than somebody that have been on both sides. "I guess you got the Juice Now" (Movie: Juice,1992)

Man, this Cyrus and James situation is something else. I swear every time Cyrus mess up BIG, James come out on top. Interview with Millie, Baby, New Position in White House. Clearly on the brighter note, Cyrus is the reason for James successes, despite James' credentials. James does manage to one up Cyrus

ALLLLLLLLL I KNOW, is that Leo........that dude, Leo!!!! STRAIGHT RIDE OR DIE........."If you kill somebody, you call me"

So the truth comes out about Momma Pope. I can't lie, she seem very B613 qualified. I look forward to see how she plays out in the next season. But it definitely does sum

Next Season: Feb 27:

So much to have to wait and see.

How Charlie and Quinn will grow, and how well Quinn fits in at Wonderland, I am sure she will come back to being a Gladiator or be killed off,

How will Sally play now, that since she pretty much can not run for President, that is a for sure no go.

Daddy Pope not Command and Jake is, I am curious to see how this goes. I mean technically you got an ex-gladiator on your squad (Quinn)

I wonder how will Daddy Pope and Liv will play now, will Sunday dinners truly resume? All the secrets are out now, and he not Command no more.

And I still need to know what is going on with Harrison's back story.

Okay, now what am I to do until 2/27/14.......

What are your thoughts....

SCANDAL: YOLO S3/Ep9

Now, usually I don't really do mid season posts about television shows, BUT THIS, THIS RIGHT HERE, TONIGHT...........I CAN'T TAKE IT!!!!!

First Off, HUCK.IS.MY.DUDE!!!! Because he was about to have a Whiskey party just for Quinn. HE LICKED HER FACE......WHAT!!!!!And then, EVERYBODY KNOWS, when Huck tells you to do something, especially when it sounds like it's B613 classified....YOU NEED TO GET UP AND GO! Don't be trying to ask questions.

No, something did not seem, to add up to me during the middle, and I think Liv feels it too. But it seems to me that Momma Pope "Marie" was just being all to cool about the whole thing. Like dude, you haven't seen your daughter in 22 years, and you just trying to play the momma role. Really!!! Seems fishy to me.

So then, the Cyrus and James fight.....mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. I swear, for a minute I was watching as if it was real life. I hate to pick sides, about who is wrong, but in this Cyrus was all the way wrong for that one. Dude, that's your spouse, you could have at least put him in the loop, AND MILLIE, told you....she told you. SMH. I can't lie, that was a very emotion filled scene. James was right, he could have got a hooker lol.

Umm, quick shout out to the random Harrison black girl , I don't know who the person that got Harrison shook like that, but that name got him on edge. *And I just want to add that black girl was cute*

So back to Huck, mannnnnnn, He popped out a tooth, I was waiting for to see another come, but Quinn should have known better. She knew she was going to deep down the rabbit hole, and looked what happened, HER ASS IN WONDERLAND.

Okay, Now, it's crazy how all that time, Liv was so sure that Momma Pope was the "victim". I have to admit, that Momma Pope played on all and everyone's emotions, and hit all the right cues for "victim validation" The Eli always wins, to the story about blowing the whistle, to playing Momma lets have breakfast moment.

Oh, Oh, Oh, and we cant not forget, SALLY,.....poor poor,Christian Sally, my my my how far she has fell.....

Okay, so here we go, My Thoughts............

Momma Pope is a spy from London, she has been playing Daddy Pope until she got the information she needed, and she was about to leave. Daddy Pope found out, and took her off the plane, listed her on the flight manifest, and had the plane shot down. Which is why she WAS in the little mini prison.

My other thought about Momma Pope, is that she use to work in Wonderland too, and somehow she snapped. Daddy Pope called the house to see if she was home, and then that commenced the plan to fake her death. Cause we know that B613 has no tie to the oval office, and Daddy Pope can do whatever he want lol.

As for Sally, poor poor Sally. You know, I really feel bad for her in the whole role she's had to play. She has only been trying to be true to herself and keep getting putting in mess. AND NOW, she done finally snapped. I'm going with that was her husband on the floor, BUT there is a another possibility that it could be James on the floor. She could have called him talk about the whole ordeal with her husband, and SNAPPED IN HALF, and killed James. Just another possibility, highly unlikely, but just want to put that there.

 I NEED TO KNOW WHO THIS GUY or GIRL is that Harrison afraid of, and what they did to him.

.....As always these are my thoughts, what are yours.......

Marvel Vs. DC: Diversity in Film current state

Check out this link

http://www.forbes.com/sites/scottmendelson/2013/07/05/how-a-justice-league-film-can-top-the-avengers-diversity/

Here are my thoughts in relation to this article.

Although Twilight and The Hunger Games both have leading ladies, one key factor is that they also have been very successful book series, that also had ready and willing fan base, and for those that do not read book series (such as myself, but have seen all the movies to everything else that was a book first) and go see the book series movies. So they will have to do some work to pull Wonder Woman to current major fan base of comic heroes.

Now this article does make some very good points. Having a female lead and African American are two things lacking in the Marvel film realm. But here is the thing, as far as a woman in a major part, Storm is still the front running comic woman of Marvel and DC. Though she may not have an individual movie of her own //in which with her back story, team leadership, and love interest ie, Black Panther, Wolverine, and Forge, she has enough substance to introduce others and carry her own. OH and she in 3 soon to be 4 movies already. BUT I DIGRESS// she is still the woman holding down the job, and now coming in second Black Widow //she seem pretty major in that Captain America: The Winter Soldier trailer, oh and she also has been in 3 movies 4 by the time Avengers 2 comes out.....okay you see my point//. Now granted, you can not talk about JLA with out mentioning Wonder Woman, and of course she is one of the Big 3 JLA, because lets face it, Batman, Superman and Wonder Wonder are always the definite 3 without a question on the team. The problem is that when put with the JLA, Wonder Woman still will fall as supporting member to the rest of JLA. Sorry to say, but she will. BUT, it will be a good move after the JLA to give her own movie, and she can hold it down with a good start up from JLA since DC said they don't want to go off the Marvel template (individual movie then team movie)

Now, as much as it pains me to say this as the hardcore Marvelite that I am, but if DC came with a Green Lantern reboot with John Stewart mannnnnn, but would be a match won on the diversity front, as far as the current comic film status goes (let's not forget about Blade's three movies, tv show, and cartoon, BOOM!) But Since Marvel will only someday to when the Black Panther movie will come out, (despite the obvious use of vibranium, already seen TWICE, and anyone familiar with it knows its in Wakanda, Black Panther can't get his own movie...WTF Marvel....and i know your not going to put the Falcon in Avengers 2...smh) but bringing John Stewart to a massive team movie like JLA will be a major blow to Marvel. Since DC doesn't want to go the Marvel route and do individual movies first, the GL reboot would be great, and just for the appeasement, you can give a quick 30 sec update of what happen to Hal.

So if DC wanted to put Marvel in check (chess metaphor) with Wonder Woman and John Stewart Green Lantern, Checkmate would be having giving Cyborg some mentions or playing time, like War Machine in Iron Man 1. For Marvel, put mention of Wakanda in Captain America 2, let the Falcon be in Avengers 2, and mention/show Luke Cage in Avengers 2. Just a thought, while we are talking about diversity in the teams.

Just my thoughts, what are yours?

My Thoughts: Gravity

Gravity : A medical engineer and an astronaut work together to survive after an accident leaves them adrift in space. ~IMDb

So, I must say that I was not planing on seeing this movie, and now that I did see it, I still say, I will not be watching it again, unless it comes on television at 3 am and I need to go to sleep.

I will say, if you go see the movie, you must see it in 3D because of the zero gravity affect, makes looking at stuff float around much more worth it.

So, Gravity, ummmm, yeaaaaaaaaaa, it was okay. yes, just okay at least for the story of the movie, but the effects and graphics, really had me into the movie. its something about the notion of just drifting in space, not much light, no control of where you go.

I don't know how I feel about movies taking place in location for the whole movies, I mean yes, its space, and its a lot of it, but I thought it would have at least had some type of pre-mission flashback. Although, they gave you enough of a story upfront (the first 5 minutes), so I guess it was not point to flashback. Oh Well

Overall, If you are just bored, or really like George Clooney or Sandra Bullock then it doesn't really matter about the movie, just go see them and the cool view of movie Earth. If not just want until it comes on cable, I'm sure FX channel will show it one day.

My Thoughts: Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D "Pilot"

Finally the time has come, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D  has finally premiered. MARVELITES UNITE!!!!!!

Before I get into this break down of my thoughts. I would like to take the time to thank ABC.com. Here's why

On Tuesday at about 2:39 am I go to set my dvr to record the show, I look at the Comcast channel guide, and go to ABC and record series. I get home last night, and get ready to look at the show, and its a black screen for the whole hour. I WAS PISSED!!!!! and I couldn't even find a link nowhere to watch it. Needless to say, it was not a good night.

Now back to the show. There may be some spoilers, but deal with it

First Off..................YAY PHIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Welcome back from "Tahiti" ( I definitely want to know the truth there)

I can appreciate the subtle comedic moments, not built to be a comedy or overbearing but just enough to give you a chuckle

Soooo, we have un-registered gifteds, really?!?! Okay, I'll let that go for now. (No I won't... as one with the Marvel Universe, comics and shows, kudos, cause in X-Men, they were just considered un-registered mutants, oh and isn't that a little bit why the Marvel Civil War started., hmmmmmm)

Oh yes, way to go for the black doctor dude, out of nowhere. Man, I was really convinced that Agent Coulson was at Tahiti, but whats a series premier what out he forefront knowledge of secrets and mysteries, like how we come to learn about Agent May (but she sound like she might have been that deal in the field, you see the end she took down the fake cop)

Oh and way to go "With great power...something something something" from Spider-man , and did you happen to catch the Harry Potter Hermione reference real quick from  Agent Fitz and Simmons, cute.

Credit to unknown Rising Tide who seem to really end up being a woman with some pretty average laptop and a lot of access, but it was a nice thought of having an unknown adversary at the moment, but we see how that ended, not a bad option though

You know, just when I was thinking like, Awwww yeaaaa, black dude with powers, this fool got damn enhancements, alien at that. All I could do was just put my head in my hand. Better luck next time black man, but way to start off the show. (Quick Tidbit: The most important thing is family and survival way to go black man.) Oh but wait, there it goes, Angry Black Man, //*Desperation Tone*- Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy //. Dude, as if we already did a chance to lead off his joint, but now you to fell to the stereotype. Its okay, all you wanted was just an opportunity, but damn.

LOL at Sweaty Cosplay girls around Stark Tower

Did anyone else the the 7 Dwarfs reference, you know Sleepy or was it Dopey, eh,however it was mentioned. Cute lol

Oh did you catch the Terminator reference to T-1000 to Agent Ward, but did you see the cop at the end that got out the car, now her was more T-1000 looking  (This show/ep is full references)

So, if anything would be the moral of this episode it would be "There is always a way" oh and Agent Coulson don't play that sh*t!

OVERALL: I was going to be a fan regardless, I mean its Marvel. In the earlier years of live action, yea it seem a bit touch and go, but they got better. I like the correlations and references to Avengers and Iron Man 3 (Extremis). This show has an abundance of potential, I just hope they are able to unleash the possibilities, even with possible cameos or name drops of other characters in the Marvel Universe.

So did you notice all the References, I'm sure I missed some too, but this is what I got
Spider-Man
Iron Man 3
Harry Potter
Terminator 2
Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, mainly just the dwarfs

I miss anything?!?!?

So these are my thoughts, what are yours, comment, I enjoy them.

My Thoughts: Battle of the Year

Battle of the Year: Battle of the Year attracts all the best teams from around the world, but the Americans haven't won in fifteen years. Dante enlists Blake to assemble a team of the best dancers and bring the Trophy back to America where it started. ~IMDb

My Thoughts: As one that have seen every movie from the Step Up series in theaters, it was quite refreshing to see a movie dedicated to B Boying and Hip-Hop. Now with that said, as a fan of art of dance, I thought the movie was great, a bit cheesy here and there, but it's a dance movie, there will always be cheesiness. Its not really that much for people to go see but the dancing. I can admit that I have only seen a couple of crews battle before, but I was quite impressed in with the choreography. I literally sat there thinking, Damn, that was sweet as hell, and WHAT, did they really just form Voltron <<--(yes an actual thought).

The music, man, you can never go wrong with classic Hip-Hop and classic B. Here are some of the songs that are not on the soundtrack. (Some, click the link to see the full list and soundtrack)

34.Sing, Sing, Sing (With A Swing) – Benny Goodman And His Orchestra

So here are somethings that I noticed through the movie.

Way to go Caity Lotz, that woman is pretty damn sexy.

Quest Crew, I see you!!

The appearance of the great digital divide, those that are not use to or update with technology compared to those that are. I mean it was just a tablet, OH, that it was sweet when he moved the movie from the tablet to the tv. I WANT ONE!!!!

Changing of the times and culture. I wonder how B Boys then feel about B Boys now. I wonder how the change in culture, being that where B Boying started (USA) but is not as prevalent in American Hip Hop.

I know this though, I understand the point of someone understanding who they are about to work with, but damn, just cause yall boys from way back, does not mean you just tell his life story to some new random dude. I mean, granted, they took some unnecessary time out by not giving him worthless anecdotes about his past.throughout the movie. I do appreciate it, for getting it out up front.

Oh and of course you could not go without the classic self destruction, team reflection, old friends turned rivals back to friends, and the infamous tragic moment. (Crowd goes awwwwwww)

All in all, in the ending, I really appreciated them not showing the final routines. You know since the whole damn movie was practice and team building, for me it was a good ending. The ending I will leave it at that.

Random Thoughts in Media: Steve Urkel. Alternative Motives, Dessert, Bayou Princess

So here are some of my random thoughts about different things in media, of course I had to start with Film and TV, but mediums will come...........These are my thoughts, do share yours.

Family Matters

Despite how bad Steve Urkel wanted Laura Winslow, Steve was always a good friend, helping her in school, getting her out of trouble, helping the family out, AND even listening to her issues with other dudes, and always having to witness him getting passed up and denied. Steve is the epitome of "Don't Quit"

A Family That Preys

Ladies, have you ever had a guy ask you out, and probably knew that he had some alternative motive or reason. Well just remember the scene from Tyler Perry's A Family That Preys. If a guy asks you out, and you think something seems sneaky, just ask to bring another guy along, and 1) check for the reaction, 2) count and see how long it takes for an answer.

Remember in the Matrix 2 "Matrix Reloaded," That scene where the woman ate the dessert

  I wonder if they ever will ever make a dessert just like that with the same effect. Cause that would definitely be a best seller. It would be the guy's "Gonna get some plan" or  get out of jail free card, and the woman's escape plan to getting out of sex, or getting sex.  Not sure if the effect would be the same for a guy, depends on how its used and the timing.

Princess and the Frog
http://princess.disney.com/tiana

Way to go Disney for the first black princess.......but why the New Orleans Bayou. I'm not saying that it was not a good setting, BUT you let all the other minority princesses have a more traditional history setting, Asia, Middle East, America (somewhere) So why not just let her be an African princess, because last I remember Nala, was definitely a lion. I'm sure people would have had something to say about it, but they wouldn't have been able to say much.

Lee Daniel's The Butler: My Thoughts

YouTube. Lee Daniel's The Butler Trailer

The fictional Cecil Gaines is based on Eugene Allen who worked at the White House during eight presidential terms from 1952 to 1986. He started as a "pantry man," was promoted to butler, and then Maître d'hôtel.[9]
Gaines's position as butler allows him to witness presidential discussion of national civil rights issues, while his son Louis directly participates in many of the struggles. Historical events include the Federal integration of Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, the Nashville sit-ins, the Freedom Riders, the assassination of John F. Kennedy, the Voting Rights Act of 1965, the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr., the Black Panther Party, the Vietnam War, the Nixon Resignation, the Free South Africa Movement, and Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign.

My Thoughts: This movie was awesome, I love movies based on true stories, real facts and events. It was refreshing seeing history that has happened from a different perspective.

As one that loves history, it was pretty cool, seeing some of the historic events that have shaped this country's progress and change.
I must say that this film definitely drew out some emotions, ( for me at least) hope, love, some anger ( just a little bit), and some sadness. Overall, you should definitely enjoy this movie.

SCANDAL SEASON 3 UPDATE

Shonda Rhimes & Cast Reveal 14 Things to Know About Upcoming Season 3 Of ‘Scandal’

Now, if those that know me best know one thing, I AM A GLADIATOR IN A SUIT!!! And when Scandal 's 3rd season comes back on, PLEASE BELIEVE, my work schedule will be set accordingly. So until then, I will be putting up and the newest things I come across and find and that have been sent to me.  Shonda Rhimes, YOU ROCK!!

Directly from the link above.

We can’t wait until Scandal returns this Fall for season 3!
The Hollywood Reporter caught up with creator Shonda Rhimes as well as stars Washington (Olivia), Tony Goldwyn (Fitz), Bellamy Young (Mellie), Darby Stanchfield (Abby), Katie Lowes (Quinn) and new series regular Scott Foley (Jake) to talk about what’s to come whenScandal returns to our television screens.
Together, they shared 14 things to look forward to.
1. Rhimes notes that 22 minutes will have passed since the end of season two when viewers learned that Rowan, the head of B613, was Olivia’s father. As the family drama unfolds, the showrunner notes that Morton will most definitely return. As for who finds out about their relationship, that’s another story. “The ramifications of that dad moment? It’s huge,” Lowes teases.
2. “Olivia, with these two bombs of her name being leaked and her dad showing up, has a lot to navigate,” Washington says of Olivia’s incredibly complicated personal life right now. “You’re going to learn a lot about Olivia’s past; it’s really shocking.”
3. While Olivia ended things (again) with Fitz in the season-two finale, the former couple will look to navigate their new and very public “relationship” now that they’ve been outed in the season-three opener. “That is going to pose an interesting challenge for them that we’re going to see them try to deal with in the first episode back,” Rhimes says.
4. Who outed Olivia as Fitz’s mistress? Look for that answer to come in the Oct. 3 premiere. That reveal will serve as a springboard for the first half of the season in the same fashion that Quinn Perkins’ true identity did in the sophomore season starter. All eyes naturally are going to be on Mellie, who stands to gain the most from exposing Olivia as Fitz’s mistress. That typically would mean that Rhimes will likely go anywhere but the obvious. “Mellie is in a really tight spot,” Goldwyn says of the first lady. “Mellie is a tough lady, and one of the cool things about this group of people is they all want to win, and even when we think they’ve lost we discover they have some agenda. Even when Fitz thinks he’s been defeated, he’s got another move, and Mellie is very much the same way.” For her part, Young defended Mellie and noted that there are several people who could stand to gain from that information going public. “You’d be surprised by how many people have motive and opportunity and means,” she explains. “It’s an incredible hour of television of going on the ride to find out who leaked it, and you will find out in the first episode back. It’s the big giant domino and sets the whole season in motion.
5. Also a suspect? The ruthless Cyrus (Jeff Perry), who has been known to play both sides when it comes to protecting the president. “We know that Cyrus has no boundaries in what he’d do to protect his interests, so you’ve got this very good horse race that’s building up,” Goldwyn says of the party responsible for outing Fitz and Olivia.
6. Fitz’s re-election is on the season-three menu. “We’re going to head in that direction, but I don’t know if we’re going to get there in the first half of the season,” Rhimes says. “But we are heading in that direction. It’s a big deal. We’re at the timeline where that starts to be an issue.
7. Fitz’s priorities are (still) skewed. “We’re in a deep disastrous mess in the White House, and somehow we’re going to have to figure out how to not only try and save Fitz’s presidency, but that’s maybe not Fitz’s No. 1 priority,” Goldwyn says. “A lot becomes clear in episode one, and you understand where Fitz is coming from — and what we find out is pretty shocking.”
8. The healthiest relationship on Scandal? It involves an Emmy nominee. “James [Dan Bucatinsky] and Cyrus are the healthiest relationship on the show, and they continue to be, which is my favorite thing ever,” Rhimes says with a smile, noting she was over the moon about news of Washington and Bucatinsky’s Emmy nominations. “Their healthy relationship includes an assassin being hired to kill one of them but the romance being that he pulled him back. Cyrus to me is the most intriguing character I’ve ever gotten to write because he’s so dark and so full of love and is so kind and cruel.”
9. Fitz may have put his head in Mellie’s lap when he came back to her on his knees, but that doesn’t mean they’re on solid ground. We’ve thought and talked about a presidential divorce, and we have specific plans about what we want to do when we get to that point,” Rhimes teases.
10. While Fitz has always had Olivia in his corner to fix anything and everything, Rhimes wants Mellie’s fixer – John Barrowman – to return. “I hope we can bring him back,” the avid Doctor Who and Torchwood fan says with a smile. “The day he flew in to shoot his scenes, I was dying that I couldn’t get to set. He’s amazing.”
11. How long will Jake be stuck in the hell hole? A bearded Foley was sworn to secrecy but previewed that when – and OK, if – Jake does get out of his B613 purgatory, he will be a changed man. “I think we can assume if and when he gets out, his condition will be substandard to say the least,” he says. “He will have been hurt both mentally and physically — and needing someone to help him out.” As for who he turns to once he is freed, Foley described the mystery person (ahem, Olivia?!) as “someone who’d take care of him and knew they would treat him the right way.”
12. Lowes warns that Olivia’s outing will impact everyone at OPA differently. “Every single Gladiator in the office has to question whether or not, again, they’re on board or not,” she says. “It makes everyone ask themselves whether or not they support this or don’t support this, and how to fix it and how not to fix it. It causes a lot of conflict.” In terms of what side Quinn falls on, Lowes says there’s only one choice for the newest Gladiator. “After last season, she’s totally an Olivia Pope ride-or-die Gladiator. She doesn’t have anything to go back to; she doesn’t have family or friends anymore. Olivia Pope is really where she belongs, and it’s who saved her life. She’s indebted to Huck most of all, so wherever Huck goes, she goes.”
13. Flashbacks, flashbacks, flashbacks. Some of Scandal‘s best episodes have come when Rhimes and company put their lens on the characters’ often-unexplored back stories, and season three will likely feature more of the Gladiators’ histories. “There’s so much about these lead characters that we don’t know. It’s not until you start learning about them as people — which you do right out of the gate,” Lowes says. Stanchfield, meanwhile, previews that she’s hearing Abby and Harrison (Columbus Short) may likely be the first to get the flashback treatment in season three. “All season we’ll be traveling through time — more recent flashbacks as well as flashback flashbacks. We’ve already had some unanswered questions in terms of characters’ pasts that have come up in the first two scripts,” she says.
14. Abby and David, Round 2? “In the first couple episodes, there’s something around the corner for Abby and David,” Stanchfield offers with a grin. “I don’t know what but they’re definitely sniffing around each other. I don’t know if it’s on, but it’s not off. We’ll see [how it will take] shape. Maybe she’ll shove another finger in his mouth!”
We’re so excited! What are you looking forward to when Scandal returns on October 3rd?

Movie Special: RED 2: My Thoughts

*DISCLAIMER THERE WILL BE NO SPOILERS*

So, last night I had the privileged to see a special screening of Red 2. All I can say is if you like RED, then you have to go see RED 2, and even if you haven't seen RED, go watch a trailer, and you will get the gist, or just go buy the DVD, or watch it on NetFlix.

I greatly enjoyed watching this sequel. The same energy that was in RED carried over to RED 2. Comedy, Action, a little bit of romance, just a little. The addition of Katherine Zeta Jones // which I think is one of thee sexiest women ever// and Lee Byung-hun //Storm Shadow in the G.I. Joe live action movies// worked very well with the story. and John Malkovich, that man is just funny, with out even trying.

One thing that i especially enjoyed about the movie, was the international travel, // which you can tell from the  poster and trailer, see no spoilers // It is a passion of mine to see and explore other places, and the actual history they have, in real life. The action and fight scenes, just as good as the first movie.

I will say, that I hate when movies try keep a series going, but this did a good job, and done it correct. So not that there need to be a part 3, but you know there are some good openings that could lead to another movie. Plus, who doesn't like the end of a good trilogy, as long as its done the same, if not better.

Go See It!!!

Update 7/23/13 **SPOILERS DOWN HERE**

Anthony Hopkins is a certified nut! I must say that I should have saw it coming that he was behind it himself. But the looney scientist bit, way to go sir.

AND REALLY, why did Catherine Zeta Jones have to die, such a travesty *puts head in hands*

I find it funny, how John Malkovich's character, is so paranoid, but yet always seems to be right. Which in the end, doesn't make him paranoid. BUT what is interesting, is how some of the things he say, between RED and RED 2 has some legitimacy. Think about it or look it up!

I look forward to seeing Lee Byung-hun in things to come, MAYBE he will make into a MARVEL MOVIE....hmmmm. I'm just putting it out there. MAYBE Ironfist....huh huh... lol

Movie: Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain : My Thoughts

There is really nothing for me to say about this movie, but THIS SHYT HAD ME DYING, TEARS FALLING. And that is my thought. lol. If you haven't seen it yet, here are some of my personal highlights (Yup Spoilers)

1. Deerbra
2. Best Friend Harry
3. Are You Done
4. Bum Bump

So at the end of the movie, Kevin Hart that he is one of few stand up comedians that have performed at Madison Square Garden. So of course me being the media researcher I am, I go to look to see who else is on this small list of comedians. Well, here you go....

1991: Andrew Dice Clay
2006: Dane Cook

Yup, that's all I found so far, but I'm still looking for others, check back later. If any one out there can find others, comment, and I'll add them, and give you the credit.

But like always, These are my thoughts, what are yours...... later people

White House Down (WHD) Vs. Olympus Has Fallen (OHF) FIGHT!!!

                  VS

So, after reading a couple reviews and comments, about WHD, and how it did not due as well as it was suppose to, and then being compared to OHF, well I can see how that can happen.

While watching WHD, I too also made comparisons. So lets begin.

Actors/Actress:
WHD: Jamie Foxx, Channing Tatum, James Woods,  Maggie Gyllenhaal, Richard Jenkins, Jason Clake
OHF: Morgan Freeman, Gerard Bulter, Aaron Eckhart, Angela Bassett, Dylan McDermott, Rick Yune

On this one, I would have to give it to OHF: Foxx and Tatum, are a good combo, especially with them being the main essence of the movie. But dude. Butler, //Mr. 300 This Is Sparta// and Freeman, //He's played God  twice, TWICE!// stand alone and do a good job. To break down further: Tatum, kinda regular army dude, saved and important son. Butler, ex-Special Forces. Granted Foxx was the president, //and so glad he did not die//, and Freeman was Speaker of the house, and only acting president, but he acted as president the damn near the whole movie. (Spoiler) Two other dudes got sworn into the president's position.

White House Scene and Grounds:
WHD: Classic fire up the middle of the White House, driving on the White House Lawn, Car in Pool, Pool house blown up, broke some irreplaceable pieces. basketball court.
OHF: Just the White House,but they demolished the whole damn thing
*quick funny, in WHD, they showed the historic picture of the white house burning, but OHF, really did burn  and blow up*

Action: WHD

Yea, I'll have to get it to WHD, it was all types of craziness going on there, OHF had a lot too, but when you  look at more than just hand to hand combat, yea WHD definitely has this one

Overall Movie: Tie, and here's why.
OHF, is a great movie, action, strong plot, and some of the things that happen in the movie, really make you wonder if it could ever happen in reality. And really how many times have you seen a president in a movie, get they ass beat. I'm just saying.

WHD: is more like that family action movie, but a better story. You have the child hero that really outshines the main hero. There is some soft comedy, people that want revenge for their son (spoiler), a president that shoots a rocket launcher.

But Ultimately you decide, and tell me what you think.

As always these are my thoughts, what are yours.....

Movie:White House Down: My Thoughts

YouTube Trailer

IMDbWhile on a tour of the White House with his young daughter, a Capitol policeman springs into action to save his child and protect the president from a heavily armed group of paramilitary invaders.

My Thoughts: This movie was way better than I expected. Based upon the title you already can tell that its something about to go down at the White House. //What is it this year about people picking on the White House, hmmmm//. While always good to see an action movie, with some comedy, and a story that plays out and develops //Yay, Daddy saves the day//, you just can't help not have a soft spot for the bad guy. Kudos on the Foxx and Tatum connection looks like this could work out well in the future. Another Kudos to Garcelle Beauvais for playing the FLOTUS //Nice to see Jamie and Fancy back together; The Jamie Foxx Show// Foxx as usual does a great job, and I can see him in the future, playing more presidential, or high command or leadership roles. Tatum, I must say, is becoming on of my new favorites in action stars and actors period. I appreciate his versatility of acting, to go from serious to comedic, or even if he just dances in the whole damn movie. Keep it up Tatum, you might find your self in a Marvel or DC, hell, Foxx just got into one.

As a media researcher, I have a passion for the information that is put in films, that cater to its authenticity that then leads me to wonder, is that true in real life. In White House Down I found myself wondering this more than usual. Mainly because its a movie about an actual place that has   a vast and vivid history. Some thoughts were as simple as does that golden clock really exist in the White House, is the President Bunker really through the library, Is custodial staff not allowed through where tourists are at, Did President Garfield really get the tunnel built underground because he didn't want to be seen in his swimsuit, AND, just how many time did Kennedy sneak Monroe into the White House (hmmmmmm)

My Rating: T.S.W.A (That Shyt Was Awesome)

These are just my thoughts, and my opinions, what are yours.

The Matrix: Random Thoughts Years Later

So right now, I am watching The Matrix on HBO 2. As many times as I have seen this movie, there is always something new that sticks out.

1. During the INFAMOUS fight seen with Morpheus and Neo, what was Neo really breathing if it wasn't air, or was he even breathing at all?

2. So Morpheus said that when your ready, you wont have to dodge bullets, So you mean to tell me, it really took him the whole damn movie to get ready? I'm just saying lol

3. Morpheus said, that at after a certain time, they never unplug someone from the matrix...What is that time span or age?

4. Piggy backing off of #2, if that was the case, during the seen with Cypher and Agent Smith eating dinner, Cypher says, 9yrs later....ignorance is bliss. Now not to try and say how old Cypher really is, but he does not come off as someone that just been out 9 yrs, if so, did Morpheus break the rule from him too, or does Cypher just look older?

5. During the meeting with Oracle and Neo, she never actually said that Neo wasn't the one, Neo said he wasn't one. Yes, you can say that she kind of agreed with him, but she never said that he wasn't.

6. What the hell made Switch so special that she got to wear white leather?!?!?!

7. If they would have killed Morpheus back on the ship, could the rest of the trilogy have continued? Would the first movie be able to end the same way?

8. Now, I'm not trying to be a hater, but when Trinity was falling out of the helicopter, she should have flew through the window, and Neo should have fell, just thinking about science and physics, yes I know its the matrix and the rules are different, but still

9. So, what you telling me, Neo did not "believe" in hisself until Trinity told him (while dead) the Oracle said she was gonna fall in love with the one. And then all of sudden you can stand up like you didn't just get shot like 2 Pac. YEA OKAY!

Again, just my thoughts,

What are yours?!?!

BET's The Game Pre-Premier

So, TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT!!!!! BET's The Game comes back on for its 6th Season (S6). Honestly, I'm a little on the fence about this season; don't get me wrong the show is good, but the show use to be awesome! Back during the first three seasons, it was great, it was really a show about the life, issues, and drama that sound this pseudo football team in San Diego. I personally still think that the whole series should have just ended after S3, Derwin and Mel, get married and have a child, story book ending. Right, Right, WRONG! They want to go off and pull out this 2 yrs later shyt, S4. My Gripes: Melanie spent all that damn time in Med School, and talking all this shyt about med school this and med school that, her ass not even a practicing doctor. Brittany, just out the blue, done turned rogue, and just lost her way, she use to be so innocent......so much for that now. Kellie, just plain and simple lost her damn mind....yea that's all i really got for that. Also, S4 seemed to have a more darker and colder over tone, not just the mood  of the show, but all the look, lighting wise.  Now, S5, seemed to get back to where S3 left off, not all the extra dramas, but back to what The Game was supposed. Okay, the characters all had their ups and downs, and some came to some realizations about themselves, which in short, a theme for the whole season; Everyone has flaws, accept them and move on. Now we come down to S6, and honestly, I'm not so thrilled about it, but of course I'm going to watch it, the whole season lol (Catch the Live Tweets @TheRealMC715 ). I understand that in order for a show to have longevity it has to evolve, or at least the characters do, so that is what I am hoping for. I look forward to seeing how these new characters will add to the show, Keira Whitaker and Bryce "The Blueprint" Westbrook

Olympus Has Fallen: Tha Thoughts

IMDbDisgraced former Presidential guard Mike Banning finds himself trapped inside the White House in the wake of a terrorist attack; using his inside knowledge, Banning works with national security to rescue the President from his kidnappers.

Not Planning on seeing the movie: Olympus Has Fallen Wiki

My Thoughts: This movie was pretty awesome. The cinematography, the execution of the plot, and just the overall movie.  The movie made me think of a live action Call of Duty, seem like a real first person shooter some scenes (its the gamer in me) while watching. While looking at another trailer, I saw a comment that said this was highly unlikely to happen in real life, and in regardless to the entire situation, I agree to some point. SPOILER: Cause it's no way that a plane that size would be able to fly that low in D.C. airspace and expect some serious action to be taken, instead the of passive let's try and talk them down like they did. I must admit while watching the movie, I had a couple of "Ahh Ha" moments. Go see it, tell me what you think.

Lastly, S/O to the characters of Morgan Freeman as Speaker of the House and Angela Bassett as Lynne Jacobs, the head of the Secret Service , you can't figure out why I had a special shout out to them, its okay. lol **Future Research Thought**

How To Stop The Harlem Shake

What's Going On People!!!!

So, I have been sick with the flu, had me down and out a little bit since my last post. For those that were concerned I am doing much better, not flu free, but pretty close to it.

So I was on Facebook today, and I saw this video that gave me sooooooooooooo much life today. Every time I watch it, tears fall, and I almost cough up a lung. For those that have seen the "Harlem Shake" (yes, I put it in quotes ) then you will understand, and those that have never seen it, well just enjoy this one. BUT the ending, that for me is what did it. Enjoy, and even if you don't I still did.

And for good measure, and for the actual love of dance period I have to.
So here is the Real Harlem Shake

Movie View: A Good Day To Die Hard And Snitch

Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVkzZD92cMQ

IMDb: John McClane travels to Russia to help out his seemingly wayward son, Jack, only to discover that Jack is a CIA operative working to prevent a nuclear-weapons heist, causing the father and son to team up against underworld forces.

Thaa Movie Thoughts: Well, Yes, obviously its the 5th installment to the franchise. And of course what Die Hard movie would be complete without some explosions, bullets, more explosions, more bullets, fire, a Yippe Kay Yay...., and a happy ending.  Well this time lets add in some Father and Son time (Unlike the 4th installment, where it was Father/Daughter time, and much more technical stuff), Traveling to another country, oh and my personal favorite, a piece of history in the movie, Chernobyl.

So the movie goes, Son kills man, Son is thrown in overseas jail, Father to the rescue, Father messes up sons undercover job, the innocent man that really isn't innocent really is behind the whole thing, innocent man and father have father to father moment and son forgives father at the moment (it was a non verbal) Innocent man daughter was in on the thing but seemed otherwise. Helicopter. Son gives up, father motivates son. Bad guys die. Mission success.

My one whole question, When the hell did McClane have a son? I remember no reference to him having "Children" just a child. This need investigation.

What I think, I liked the movie, yea it wasn't as outstanding as the previous Die Hard movies, but I enjoy seeing a franchise survive. I like how they know in real life, Bruce Willis is old, and lets it been seen in the movies, despite the loss of hair. I feel like there will be one more Die Hard movie, and it needs to be the last one, cause really they are just dragging this out. What more better way to end a franchise than to save the world, not just from a dude or chick that want to control it, but like have a full proof plan, will make the world have less countries or land mass type save the world. lol

 Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rieI5g9fgRc

 IMDb: A father goes undercover for the DEA in order to free his son who was imprisoned after being set up in drug deal.

Thaa Movie Thoughts: This movie was AWESOME! Thee end go see it. haha...... But for real, this movie was awesome, It was good to Dwayne Johnson "The Rock" in a different character role. That " I'm going to do whatever it takes to save my son, and if I die doing it, my little daughter and wife will be okay" role.
I am always intrigued by what actual events in movies like these are the true events, and how much of the true event has been changed for the sake of the movie.

(Intro Spoiler)
But anyway, so the movie is about this father that who's son is betrayed by his so called best friend he sends a bag of drugs to his house. Tracked by the DEA, and son goes to prison. And the movie opens.

I won't say nothing else about the movie, cause I think you really should go see it, but here are some things that really stuck out to me

(possible spoilers)
I think this is the first time I have seen The Rock get his ass beat. (Fast Five was an even fight)

This is one of the few times, that I have seen a movie that has a non-black split family

Criminals that change their ways to do better for their family, and work at do good.

Father that realize he was wrong in his view

If your going to make deals, know how to get out and around them.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So in short, I would go see both movies, Die Hard 5 if you want something entertaining and action packed, and Snitch because it was just an awesome movie, especially to have Dwayne Johnson as main character.
These are my thoughts, Do you have any?
Get a Life, Don't Make it Social Media
Welcome back good people,
So while I am gathering my data for my Superbowl posting, and not having to spend time working on these couple of papers I'm and trying to get published. I my idea for updating this one more than I have been or would like too, has been delayed a little. So I have a quick shorter posting to hold you over.
I have an issue with people that can not distinguish between, social media and real life. Let me elaborate. I have had and heard so many people complain about other people's actions as it pertains to there so called friends and friendships, relationships, family and just life in general, of how social media, indirectly said, but intentionally posted how lives have been ruined by it.
I mean, really people. People have gone so hard on others about a status post, and subtweets, and then have the nerve to get upset when people use the actual functions that are supposed to use, ie, poking, liking, favoriting ( yes, I just did that). Like gezz, get over it! If you have real friends, then social media won't matter. And if you depend solely or more than you should on your social media friends, then I think you need to get some fresh air, and meet some new people.
Now, I will say, please be mindful of what you plan on doing in life, cause it is real out here. Companies look at your social media for multiple reasons, not just to see what you doing, but to also see if you have a life, and know how to interact with people. I am not saying put your WHOLE life on there, but just be mindful.
This is my quick PSA. Have a great weekend.
